Axivion is expanding its management team and has an industry-experienced sales expert for software tools on board since November 1, 2018: Thomas Winkler is the company’s new Head of Sales and Marketing. He has more than 20 years of experience in executive and sales-oriented positions at leading software platform and tool vendors such as Enea, IAR Systems and Arccore. In his new role, Thomas Winkler will be instrumental in driving the further expansion of Axivion’s international business relationships.

Thomas Winkler has been active in the embedded software industry since graduating with a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Rostock in 1997. After starting his career as a Field Application Engineer at Wind River, he rose to become Managing Director of Enea Embedded Technology between 1999 and 2006, and later led the pan-European sales of IAR Systems as Director European Sales for about six years. Since 2013, Thomas Winkler represented the interests of the Swedish embedded software specialist as Vice President Europe and Managing Director of Arccore GmbH until its acquisition by Vector. As Head of Sales and Marketing, Thomas Winkler will now position Axivion and its complete solutions for protection against software erosion more strongly in the international market.
