The year 2020 is historic in many respects – also because all large and small industry events cannot be held as face-to-face events. Axivion also had to reschedule and bring its annual customer event “relax with Axivion” into the virtual space. But with great success: around 100 customers from German-speaking countries dialed into a video platform on September 30, 2020, to learn more “remotely” about the latest trends in software development. This meant that participation was even 30 percent higher than at last year’s “relax”. On the speaker side, five experts were connected – from Bremen and even the USA – which was easy to realize thanks to the digital format.
The feedback from participants during and after “relax with Axivion” was consistently positive. As much as many missed the personal networking, the majority and especially the new guests appreciated the possibility of virtual information exchange without long travel distances. For 2021, however, many would like to see a “relax with Axivion” again in its live version.
